Podcasts

Podcasting is a great tool that was designed to allow anyone to use it. You can make your own podcast by using pictures and adding music and or talking through what the pictures are about. This can be used for many different purposes. Podcast can be especially beneficial for teachers working with young children because the children can see pictures of what you are talking about while still hearing your voice guiding them through the material.

I have used podcasts many different times in school and even for things that are not school related. I have used podcast in school when professors turn their lectures into podcasts. This has been very beneficial because I can review all of the material without having to meet with the professor one-on-one. I also use podcast for things not related to school. I have downloaded many podcasts from my church website and even downloaded podcasts of comedians to put on my iPod. I really enjoyed learning about podcasts because I realized that it is a tool that I can use in my classroom.
