My name is Sarah Miller and I am a juinor here at IUPUI and I am 20 years old (21 on Wednesday!). I am studying Elementary Education with two concentrations added on to that, special needs and ENL. I am looking forward to starting my blocks next semester and being well on my way to being a teacher! Some of my hobbies are tennis, biking, spending time with friends and family, music and dance. I currently work two part time jobs. I am a part time nanny for three children, Gabriela is 7, Jonah is 5 and Brady is 2. I have been working with this same family for a little over a year now and I couldn't ask for a better job! My other part time job is with a marketing agency where I am being taught how to develop strong communication skills, build confidence and getting a taste of what the business world is really like. This is a fairly new area of work for me but I am really starting to get the hang of what I am doing and I am having a lot of fun while doing it!
I was really excited when I saw this assignment because I love to blog but I don't have an actual profile set up anywhere. For the most part I just create notes on my Facebook account to do my blogging. I had a lot of fun creating this blog and I am really excited to be able to go through and look at some of my classmates blogs as well! A tip to share with my classmates that I learned while creating this is to be creative as possible with your profile and your blogs! This is a place that you get to express yourself and tell others everything that they should know about you as an individual!

ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Birthday! Hope it was amazing. I use Facebook to write notes a lot also. I have been looking for a nanny job, I would enjoy being around kids so much and love the experience. Nice playlist!
I like the personalization you have with your blog. I have no idea how you added a playlist to it but that is awesome. Good luck with your blocks next year. I wish I was at that point.
